Kew Changing Room Complex.
On 11 May 2009 the Football Foundation made the final payment against the agreed offer, following examination by their accountants of all the receipts and information we had supplied.
The Football Foundation offered 73% of the cost and the Board were required to raise the remaining 27% and in the end were successful in raising nearly £150,000 which was over 18%.
The balance of the funding has been covered by two interest free loans which have to be repaid and will take approximately 8 years to repay, if payments are met regularly and on time.
As a result of this commitment the Board are limited in the finance available to maintain and expand the facilities and still requires that all members to volunteer to meet some of the daily mundane requirements to maintain the building.
If any member has access or knowledge of openings for sponsorship or donations towards the building then they should contact myself.
The Board have now commenced the work of upgrading the standard of the pitches and again this will take considerable funding (£24,700 this summer and probably another £10,000 next summer) and whilst the Board have been very successful in obtaining grants there will be a deficit so we will be asking all soccer and baseball sections to contribute to fund raising to cover that deficit
